Special thanks to students and teachers and to Briarcliff resident and artist Mary Ellis for her opening address.
The team competed against over 650 students from 41 other schools in the region and came home with 17 awards including: 1st Place, Behavioral and Social Sciences - Chris Li; 1st Place, Computer Science - Charlotte Sendek; and Grand Prize winner - Chris Li.
The first visitors to this new science offering were Mr. Connolly's sixth grade Social Studies students who are studying ancient civilizations and the topography of cities.
YOUNG ARTISTS: A High School Art Exhibition from February 10 - March 3. The opening reception is on Sunday, February 10, 3 - 5pm.
Her research project titled "Mesoderm formation and Nodal Signaling in Zebrafish Embryos and Blastoderm Explants" was among 29 Hudson Valley students and 300 nationwide selected from 1,964 applications received from 601 high schools in 48 states
