Principal's Office
The middle school years represent a unique and transformative time in early adolescence. During this period, students experience rapid and sometimes uneven growth across all domains: physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and moral. As they navigate the journey from elementary to high school, they embark on a path of self-discovery and increasing awareness. Middle school learners often exhibit:
- Intellectual curiosity while being focused on their peers.
- Physical maturity yet may feel socially and emotionally uncertain.
- Developing identities coupled with a heightened sense of self-consciousness.
- A desire for independence while grappling with making the right choices.
Our mission in middle school is to support students on their journey toward young adulthood. To achieve this, we employ a variety of instructional strategies, create opportunities for meaningful discussions and reflections, and emphasize community building and service learning. We encourage students to take risks in their learning while maintaining clear expectations for behavior and social interaction.
In all our endeavors, we foster a strong sense of team identity and strive to nurture students who will:
- Think creatively and critically.
- Identify and solve complex, meaningful problems.
- Recognize their passions, strengths, and challenges.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with others.
- Lead healthy, balanced lives.
- Become ethical and compassionate citizens in a diverse world.
We are committed to guiding our students as they grow and develop, preparing them for the exciting challenges that lie ahead.
