BMS teachers and students collaborated to create a fun holiday event to collect food for Feeding Westchester.
Fourteen of the 24 students in Mrs. Ryzhik’s after school Math Club participated in this year’s national AMC 8 Math Competition.
Students participated in several cultural activities including presentations, crafts, sampling authentic Spanish foods.
Mrs. Howard accompanied a small group of 7th graders to an annual leadership conference hosted by the Human Rights and Holocaust Center.
Each grade level approached this exercise differently, but with the same goal - a deeper understanding of what it means to be part of the BMS community.
Robbie Beard took his 8th Grade Personal Project to the next level when he was invited to lunch at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society CT Westchester Chapter headquarters in Rye Brook by CEO Dr. Louis J. DeGennaro (pictured here with Robbie) to present it and the funds he raised.
