Earlier this Spring, BMS hosted a school-wide International Day festival.
The goal of the unit is to explore the concept of empathy by understanding different narratives within the backdrop of war. The emphasis was on connecting to characters or people, and truly understanding the hardships endured.
“Dissections are a great way to bring animal structures to life for students.”
Seussical celebrates the strength of character within the storyline without ever being preachy or losing its sense of humor, and for that reason it’s the perfect show for the middle school age group
Students followed a special schedule for the day including workshops and activities related to health and wellness. The day concluded with a student-faculty basketball game.
