Welcome to the Briarcliff High School Counseling Center

This site has been created as a resource for students, parents, and the Briarcliff community. Our department consists of four counselors, a social worker, a student assistance counselor, and support staff. Our goal as counselors is to foster the development of a better sense of self with an emphasis on making better choices. Through both individual meetings and grade level seminars, we work with students on issues such as initial adjustment to high school, personal/social growth, crisis management, yearly course selection, and post-high school planning. We strive to create a meaningful partnership with students and parents as this enhances our ability to help every student navigate the high school years successfully and graduate with a plan that will take them on the next step toward adulthood.
