Student Registration and Address Updates

Please provide the documents as described below.  All those documents must be uploaded in the electronic Student Registration Form that can be found on Step 3.

Proof of Residency Requirements:

Homeowners: If you own your home, you must provide at least three (3) of the following:

1. Proof of ownership such as property tax bill, deed, or mortgage statement
2. AND two (2) current (within 30 days) documents in the Homeowner’s name such as:
   1. Recent utility bill
   2. Recent water bill
   3. Recent cable TV/satellite TV bill
   4. Recent cell phone/telephone bill
   5. Property Insurance Certificate

*Documents with a P.O. Box will not be accepted.

Renters: At the beginning of a new agreement, the Renter must present the following documents:

1. A valid and fully executed Lease for the rental unit, including the Landlord’s address and telephone number and the property address (within 30 days)
2. AND two (2) current (within 30 days) documents in the Renter's name such as:
   1. Recent utility bill
   2. Recent water bill
   3. Recent cable TV/satellite TV bill
   4. Recent cell phone/telephone bill
   5. Property Insurance Certificate
3. A completed Statement of Property Owner/Landlord with an original signature

Living with Family/Friends: If you are living with family or friends with no formal lease agreement you must present the following documents:

1. Proof of ownership such as property tax bill, deed, or mortgage statement in the Homeowner's name
2. AND two (2) current (within 30 days) documents in the Homeowner’s name such as:
   1. Recent utility bill
   2. Recent water bill
   3. Recent cable TV/satellite TV bill
   4. Recent cell phone/telephone bill
   5. Property Insurance Certificate
3. A completed Statement of Property Owner/Landlord with an original signature

Parents/Guardians are responsible for the tuition payment for each child if their primary residence is not in the Briarcliff Manor School District.

* The documents below must be uploaded in the Student Registration Form found on Step 3. If you are already registered in the district and only need to send up-to-date information, please email it to Noah Hart at StudentRegistration@briarcliffschools.org

• Proof of Age - Examples of acceptable forms of documentation include, but are not limited to, a birth certificate or baptismal certificate (including a foreign certified transcription of either such certificate).  In the absence of these certificates, a passport (including a foreign passport) or other acceptable evidence of age.
• Proof of Residency - Required documents listed on the "Establishing Residency" tab above.
• Immunization Record - Students must meet the New York State Immunization Requirements for school entrance/attendance

• It is important to note that an Immunization Record is required before the start of the first day of school.  
• NYS School Health Examination Form - A current Health Examination Form signed and dated by a licensed NYS provider.  The form expires after one full year.  If form is expired by the first day of school, a new form must be sent by the parent (ie forms dated before one year prior to the first day of school).
• School Records Release Form (if applicable) - If your student is transferring from another school, we must have an official copy of their school records.  The parent or guardian must give their consent to the students' prior school to transfer these school records.  (Examples:  transcripts, reports cards, and other academic history).
• Digital Photo - Please attach a photo of your child (shoulders up - similar to a passport photo) in the Student Registration Form.

Required Grades K - 12

• Student Registration Form
• NYS School Health Examination Form and Immunization Record both filled out by healthcare provider
• School Records Release Form (Also required for students at Nursery Schools)

Optional Grades K - 12

• Disclosure of Student Directory Information Opt-Out Form
• Disclosure of Student Information to the Armed Services Opt-Out Form
• Parent and Prescriber's Authorization for Administration of Medication
• Dental Form (Recommended)

Grade Specific (Required if the students grade is listed):

• Kindergarten Registration:  Welcome to Kindergarten at Todd School
• Grades 7-12: NYSPHSAA Transfer Notification Form (If student has participated on a Modified, Freshman, Junior Varsity, or Varsity team between grades 7-12 while attending any New York State school. Please complete form and send to Athletic Director Chris Drosopoulos.)

Briarcliff's Board of Education will accept tuition students grades K-12, if the District determines we have available programs at the time of application.  Please email Kristine DiFrancesco at kdifrancesco@briarcliffschools.org to begin the process.

The Tuition Student Records Release Form is required for tuition students.

2025-26 Nonresident Tuition Rates Using 2025-26 Estimated Nonresident Tuition Report (NRT EST) as of October 2025

• Grades K-6 = $22,175**
• Grades 7-12 =$37,268**

2024-25 Nonresident Tuition Rates Using 2024-25 Estimated Nonresident Tuition Report (NRT EST) as of March 2025

• Grades K-6 = $22,182**
• Grades 7-12 =$37,278**

**The nonresident tuition rates are estimated rates for billing during the 2025-26 school year. When the actual 2025-26 nonresident tuition rates are available in the 2026-27 school year, refunds or additional charges are to be made in accordance with Section 174.2 (a) (6) of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education.

A resident child will be admitted to kindergarten in September who is five years of age on or before December 1 of the school year.
