Clerical

Clerical and administrative support staff work an 8 hour day inline with the school day or office. 

• 12 Month Employees work the entirety of the school year, July - June
• 200 Day Employees follow the school schedule 
  • 200 Day Employees return to work two weeks prior to the first instructional day.

Leave Accruals

• Sick Leave: 15 days
  • 7 days may be used for Family Illness
  • 2 of 7 Family Illness days upon the birth of a grandchild
• Personal Leave: 5 days 
• Bereavement Leave: 5 days 
• Cancer Screening: .5 day

Holidays: 

• 17 school holiday days (see unit calendar for specific days)
• Half-day before Thanksgiving (if District is also closed)
• Friday immediately preceding Memorial Day (if District is also closed)
• Two extra days may be taken during the February Winter Recess or the April Spring Recess 
• December holiday recess (not required to report to work but must remain on call and available to report to work should work-related needs arise).

Summer Fridays: July - August

Vacation Days

• 10 days (first five years of employment)
• 15 days (six to nine years of employment)
• 20 days (ten or more years of employment)
• * Up to five (5) unused vacation days may be carried forward from one school year to the next.

• Members earning less than $100,000 contribute 15% of the monthly premium
• Members earning at least $100,000 contribute 20% of the monthly premium

  • Employee +1 (Spouse or Child): $2,437
  • Employee + Family: $2,659

Dental Benefits:

• Provided by Guardian, no cost to the employee or their family.

Group Term Life/Disability:

• Provided by Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company, at no cost to the employee.

AFLAC Insurance: 

• Available to employees at no cost to the district.

Tax Sheltered Annuity Plans (OMNI): 

• 403(b) and/or 457 plans.

Retirement:

• Eligible for NYS Employees’ Retirement System with five or more years of service.

Flexible Benefit Plans •

• Healthcare Reimbursement: Selectable amounts between $300 and $3200 per year.
• Dependent Care Reimbursement: Selectable amounts between $300 and $5000 per household per year.
