Briarcliff Benefits

Health Insurance 

The District participates in the Putnam/Northern Westchester Health Benefits Consortium, managed by HBC, and coverage is provided by Aetna Insurance Company. The Board of Education pays most of the premium for health insurance. Your contribution to the cost of health insurance will be deducted each pay period. Refer to your benefit agreement or bargaining unit contract for eligibility requirements and employee cost for this coverage. Specific bargaining unit benefit overviews are provided at the end of this document. 

Dental Insurance

The District provides dental insurance facilitated by Guardian to eligible employees who work at least 20 hours per week. For most employees, this coverage is provided at no cost to you or your dependents. Refer to your benefit agreement or bargaining unit contract for eligibility requirements and costs.

Additional Benefits

Our district is committed to supporting the well-being of our employees by offering a comprehensive range of benefits. Additionally, we have partnered with Aflac to offer supplemental insurance options that give our employees even more coverage and peace of mind.
