Fingerprint Clearance
All employees, volunteers, and contractors working in the District are required by New York State law to be fingerprinted and undergo a criminal history background check prior to beginning employment. This process helps ensure the safety and well-being of our students and school community. Information about scheduling fingerprinting appointments and submitting the required documentation is available through the New York State Education Department (NYSED) fingerprinting page.
STEP 1: SCHEDULE YOUR FINGERPRINTING APPOINTMENT
Contact Morpho Trust by going to the IdentoGO website at www.identogo.com and select Digital Fingerprinting. All the information you need regarding fingerprinting procedures and where to schedule your appointment will be listed on the New York page.
The total cost for fingerprinting is approximately $102.00. You must bring two forms of identification with you and at least one form of identification must contain a photo. Please note that paying with a Money Order can delay fingerprinting results up to 5 days.

STEP 2: Open an account with the New York State Education Department
In order for the School District to view your fingerprinting results and print out the Clearance Certificate, you must open an account with the New York State Education Department. Go to TEACH System and follow the instructions to open an account. Your fingerprinting results will be released to your TEACH account.
