DASA
DASA (Dignity for All Students Act)
Our organization is committed to the principles of the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA), which aims to provide a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, harassment, and bullying for all students. We expect all employees to contribute to an inclusive and respectful educational setting by fostering dignity and promoting positive behavior. Any form of intimidation, taunting, or discrimination based on a student's race, color, weight, national origin, ethnic group, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or sex is strictly prohibited. Employees are required to report any incidents of harassment or discrimination to the designated district DASA Compliance Officer, Debora Serio-Vaughan or the Building DASA Compliance Officers: Jessica Michaelidis (Todd School); Amy Gladstone (BMS); Diana Blank (BHS).

Title VI & VII
Title VI and Title VII Compliance
Our organization is dedicated to complying with both Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Title VI prohibits discrimination based on race, color, or national origin in any program or activity that receives federal funding. Title VII prohibits employers from discriminating against employees based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees are treated with dignity and respect. Any questions, concerns, or complaints about potential violations of Title VI or Title VII should be directed to the Director of Human Resources.

Title IX
Our organization is committed to upholding the principles of Title IX, which prohibits discrimination based on sex in any workplace program or activity that receives federal funding. This includes protecting employees from sexual harassment, assault, and any other form of gender-based discrimination. We strive to create an inclusive and safe environment for all members of our organization.
