Sign In/Sign Out

Staff members are required to sign in and out of the building using their District-issued ID badge at the Frontline Time & Attendance time clocks upon arriving on campus and when leaving campus for any reason. Time clocks are located outside each school's Main Office and at other designated locations throughout the District. Staff members are directed to sign in at the time clock closest to their classroom or work assignment in sufficient time to be present, prepared, and ready to begin their work responsibilities at the start of their contractual workday. Signing into the building indicates an employee's readiness to begin work at the contractual start time.

Paper sign-in sheets, office logs, or any other method of recording attendance outside of the Frontline Time & Attendance system do not meet the District's official attendance and sign-in requirements. These tools may be maintained solely for daily operational purposes, such as confirming staff presence and determining student supervision and coverage needs, and serve only as supplemental reference records, and are not maintained as official records when an employee fails to bring and use their District issued ID badge. The only official record of employee arrival and departure times is the Frontline Time & Attendance system accessed through the use of a District-issued ID badge.

Maintaining accurate sign-in and sign-out records is essential for safety, security, and emergency accountability purposes to ensure an accurate accounting of staff presence in all buildings.

If you experience any difficulty signing in or out, you must notify your supervisor immediately.

For additional guidance regarding the use of the ID badge, refer to the District's ID Badge procedures, under the "Professional Expectations" page.
