Leave of Absence
We understand that there may be times when employees need to take a leave of absence due to personal, family, or civic responsibilities. Whether it's parental leave, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave, unpaid leave, jury duty, or military leave, we are committed to supporting our employees through these important life events. Each type of leave has specific eligibility requirements and procedures to ensure a smooth process for both the employee and the organization. Employees should communicate their leave needs as early as possible with both their direct supervisor and the Director of Human Resources to ensure proper planning and compliance with collective bargaining agreements and Briarcliff's policies.
