Philosophy

The Briarcliff science teachers endeavor to inspire students by making a wide array of science courses interesting and relevant.  The faculty members have advanced degrees in science and extensive industrial and real-world experience, which enables them to enrich the curriculum far beyond what is required by state and national standards. A measure of the success of the science program is the frequency with which students make connections among science courses and between science and other disciplines in the school including mathematics, English, and the social sciences.
