Bears Bulletin 1-8-23 Dear Todd Families, Happy New Year! We had a wonderful first week back from winter break. Our SEL theme for January is EMPATHY. Our school-wide read aloud selection is Chocolate Milk Por Favor by Maria Dismondy. It's a story about a new boy at school who doesn't speak English and how his classmates impacted his feelings and experiences. It has an important message about being kind, respecting diversity, and developing empathy. |
This week's affirmation is "If you can dream it, you can do it." Children feel empowered knowing they have people around them who believe that they can accomplish their dreams. In addition to the loving support and encouragement you provide your children, we aim to help them build confidence to pursue their goals. Their futures are filled with possibilities! Warm regards, Jessica Michaelidis, Principal Anne Marie Foley, Assistant Principal |
