Dear Parents and Students,
The Briarcliff High School chapter of the National Art Honor Society offers membership to students, grades 10 through 12, who are enrolled in at least one semester of art, maintain an average of 90 in Visual Arts, establish a portfolio and complete four hours of community art services annually. Visual Arts faculty approval is required. To maintain membership, 70% minimum attendance is required.
Students that complete four hours of community art service and meet the above qualifications may apply in the spring for Membership of NAHS, active the following school year. Click here to download an application. You can also find the application and qualifications on the BHS homepage under Student Life. Applications are due Tuesday October 18, 2022. Accepted nominees will be announced at the annual Art Salon.
NAHS is a service organization, in which students volunteer their services to
the school and community through visual arts projects such as: mural painting, The Memory Project, mentoring, Art Salon preparation, fund raising and exhibiting class artworks throughout the school. Members are self -governed. Officers are elected, write annual goals, create a calendar and plan events.
