IBM Family Science Program

Dear Parents of Fifth Grade Students,

We would like to extend an opportunity for your family to participate in the 2019, IBM Family Science program. The Family Science program is a hands-on experience for fifth grade students and their parents. The topics covered include States of Matter, Kitchen Chemistry, Polymer Science, Mathematical Algorithms, Introduction to Electronics and Wave Theory.

The program will be held at the T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown. Students must
commit to attend all six Saturdays with an adult. Please see the attached flyer for all the details, including the dates and times.

We can send 4 students and their families from Todd to the program. If we have more than 4 families interested, we will use a lottery system to choose the participants. Please fill out the attached registration form and return it to your child's teacher by Thursday, November 15th. Many of our families have participated in the past and have found the sessions to be interesting and engaging. We hope you will consider this opportunity.
