Important for Algebra I Students Students taking the Algebra Regents on June 23 should arrive at school at the regular time (8:45). Students must sit for at least two hours, and then they may leave the room as they finish their exams. Students will go to the HS library immediately upon completion of their exams to return their laptops, chargers, etc. This may take some time, depending upon the numbers of students. If a student is not ready to leave by 11:45, there will be a 1:00 bus. This bus will be shared with HS students. There will also be a 3:00 bus (shared with the HS) should students need additional more time.
Juneteenth Last October, NYS designated a new holiday, Juneteenth. This holiday commemorates June 19th, 1865, the day that the proclamation that slavery had ended finally reached the last Confederate State, Texas. In social studies classes, teachers will offer grade level appropriate lessons around Juneteenth.
