Dear Briarcliff Families,
We hope that this email finds you safe, healthy, and enjoying the summer.
As Dr. Kaishian discussed at our last Board of Education Meeting, the district is working diligently to craft plans for a safe return to school in September while also remaining flexible and agile as we await state guidance. Your feedback is crucial in developing this plan, and to that end we have partnered with Marist Poll on a survey that enables us to understand your thoughts about the remote learning process that was implemented in March and about potential plans for the coming school year. We are hopeful that with your input, and input from every Briarcliff UFSD family, the district will be able to make the best possible choices for our school community.
By now you should have an email from "The Marist Poll" with a link to the survey. This confidential survey should take no more than 10 minutes of your time. Your input is critical and will be used to help inform important decisions about your child's educational experience. We encourage you to speak with your child(ren), especially if much of their work was completed independently, to gain specific details about the remote learning process so that answers are as accurate as possible. If you have not received the survey, please contact Michael.Conte@Marist.edu.
We encourage you to tune in to our regular Board of Education meetings to keep up with the latest developments on our plans for the fall as well as other important developments – you can watch them live from our website and can also submit questions or comments. Previous recordings are also available on the website. We always welcome your questions or comments at boardofeducation@briarcliffschools.org.
Thank you for your involvement and investment in this difficult time.
