Hello BMS Families,
I hope this email finds you and your family well!
In lieu of our annual Wellness Day, we've planned a Virtual Day of Wellness for this Friday, May 29th. Classes will be suspended for the day to allow for students to engage in a combination of live events and pre-recorded workshops around the theme of ReJUNEvenate! We hope this day filled with wellness based activities will support you over the coming weeks, as well as establishing new hobbies and healthy habits! In addition to our Virtual Wellness Day, we'd like to encourage you to participate in a 24 hour Unplugged Challenge!
Virtual Wellness Day:
Please use the link below see our Virtual Wellness Day Brochure. Students should be on the lookout for an email from Mrs. Piersons to register for all live workshops! Each workshop (live or pre-recorded) will be found in the BMS Community. You will find each workshop facilitator has his/her own channel where you can access the workshop and additional resources.

Unplugged Challenge:
Now, more than ever, we need a break from our devices! Although we are not physically in school to participate we can still challenge ourselves to unplug. Our 6th annual Unplugged Challenge, is now our first ever BMS Distance Learning 24 hour Unplugged Challenge! From Friday, May 29th at 6pm through Saturday, May 30th at 6pm, we will pledge not to use our devices (phones, laptops, iPads) for texting, social media, video gaming or watching videos. Of course you can feel free to use your devices to FaceTime and call each other to talk. We all need social connections where you can hear and/or see the person you are talking to!
This challenge is for the entire BMS community--students, faculty, staff, parents and siblings, so please encourage everyone in your family to participate. Any questions please email Dr. Novick.
