MS Musical There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in this year's production of The Lion King, Jr. on Monday, March 9 at 2:30 in the MS Theater. Students will be finished in time to take the late bus. · Singing and Dancing workshops will be held on March 11 and 17 from 2:45 to 4:45 in the MS Theater. Students will learn material needed to audition for the show; dance routines and the songs, Haukuna Matata and Can You Feel the Love Tonight, will be taught to students. Please arrange transportation for student pick up. (Note: There will not be a workshop on March 10 as previously indicated.) · Auditions will be held on March 18 from 2:45 to 5:15. Please arrange transportation for student pick up. · An informational meeting for parents will be held on March 23 at 7:30 p.m. · Performances of The Lion King, Jr. will be held on June 5, 6, and 7. Students must be able to participate on all dates. · In general, rehearsals will be held in the MS Theater on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Students must be present during the school day to participate to rehearsals.
Wellness Day – Volunteers Needed Planning is underway for our annual BMS Wellness Day on May 8. Our day will include a variety of workshops around a wide range of topics that reflect healthy choices, mindfulness, self-care or conservation of our environment. We invite parents and community members to join us. If you are (or know someone who is) willing to share a passion that reflects any aspect of health and wellness, we could use your expertise. MS Art Show Student art work will be on display at the Briarcliff Manor Public Library from March 11 through the end of the month. Please stop by the second floor to see show. All are welcome to join our opening reception on March 11, from 3:30 to 5:00. Thank you to Mrs. Dubin and Mr. Brooks for organizing the art show, and congratulations to all our student artists.
